We are open to Resident Fellowship applications on a rolling basis, and we are accepting Non-Resident Fellows from the North Korean Studies community and among experts whose work involves a substantive focus on North Korea. Additionally, we invite all doctoral candidates to join our Ph.D. Network.

When contacting us, please point out the position you attempt to apply to (Resident Fellow/Non-Resident Fellow/ PhD Network Member) and introduce yourself, your occupation, and how your work is related to North Korea. In case you apply for a Resident Fellowship, please specify if the request is funded. 

After a review for fit and appropriateness, applicants will be contacted with a confirmation and a request for additional information. Please note that the ECNK does not currently provide or offer independent funding or university positions.
