The Communications Director is responsible for leading and managing the Communications Department to promote the mission, values, brand, image, and research of the Stimson Center. Other important responsibilities are managing media relations, improving communications processes, and giving advises to research programs on communications strategy and tools.
This position requires a candidate with a strong track record of leadership and management experience in nonprofit or policy organizations. It is required to hold a Bachelor's degree and have 10+ years of communications, public relations, or related experience.
